Need for Speed Undercover Title Update Released!

 

When the game team started working on the patch around Christmas we spent a lot of time talking to the guys on the forums and the fansites to find out what people wanted us to look at the most. The clear message from this was that people thought the frame-rate and difficulty were the key fixes so this is what we focused on.

When he spoke to me last week Scott said that, while patch was mainly focused on improving the frame-rate, his team worked particularly hard to get as many other fixes into it as possible. A great example of this is the new difficulty system for expert gamers. If you've played the game a lot you'll notice that the difficulty level ramps up much earlier than previously making the game much more of a challenge.

    Ok, automatic update for me on my PS3. I have some problems with this update, though. i'm not a "hard core" gamer. I noticed a big fast spike in how bad I'm getting at undercover. I came in last place and I don't have enough money to buy upgrades for my cars. I guess I'll have to go searching for an easy race to get some money. If there are any more updates it should be that if you lose a race the difficulty will decrease to make it easier on us non-experts.

    Thanks for the info harpo. So I guess I won't be downloading the new update until I at least get all the achievements. I am not a hardcore gamer either. So I don't enjoy games that are remarkably hard to beat. There should be a setting for casual gamer where the difficulty remains the same or hard core that ramps up the difficulty.

    Also based on this new "make the game as hard as possible" mentality EA has..... I will not be buying anymore NFS games. Why? To get frustrated and put the game down in a few days? nope! Good job EA. Oh and also good job on NEVER posting ANYTHING about a community day. Dumb asses!

    i just thought i would say... this is a very frustrating site. I cannot find anything about the community day events ANYWHERE and is pretty much the only reason that I came to this site... I would think it would be in a very distinct place where anyone could find it.

    If it is on game mode which is offline than some times you have to do it 2 times. but if online on a noncommunity day than you get the same car!

    is anyone as mad as i am that ea had an update on nfs undercover for the xbox 360 that made it harder for players even tho they have no prier raceing games on there profile... i picked it up never playing a nfs game before finding out it is hard as #$@$ to play. because people wanted it to be harder they made the update to make it so beginers like me cant play without getting the $#!* kicked out of you next time EA make a settings that you can chose how hard you want it not just make it hell
